My friend just gave birth to a healthy cheeky baby a few weeks ago, and this was the first time i met her. her mom brought her baby out of the nap time, and handed over to me. i just couldn’t believe it has been only 2 years i last held the baby this small. time flies, and baby grows so quickly. i guess one of the best way to keep this great memory is to take lots of photos regularly.
The first time i knew she gave birth to this sweet pea, I just knew i had to take some shots of this baby. her mom was pretty awesome to let me practice on her baby. one day if i became a famous photographer, i wouldn’t forget you miss I. oh i wish! still, long way to go i think. i’ve been stalking some photography blogs, and i just couldn’t resist thinking about what is it like to photograph a new baby born. first of, the baby normally doesn’t move too much, that wouldn’t be too difficult to avoid any blurry outcomes. however, lighting is still a challenging subject for me, i think. well, let see them now..
I think they are not bad. but when i looked at those photography blog, hmmm… i don’t understand, how do they manage to get those clean and sharp and clear and super great composition and so on. anyway, i remembered one of the photograph bloggers once said “So when you go to compare yourself to the hottest shooter in your mind, stop. Insert a shake of the shoulders by me. And get over it. Because it is more damaging than you think. You are your own unique self. That should translate into every area of your life, including photography” I better don’t compare myself to others then, THAT a big damage!! Well, keep trying… where there’s a will, there’s a way, they said. so, looking forward to having a new lens ^_^
Thanks to my friend to allow me to post her baby’s photos on my blog. it was a big pleasure taking those shots!
